Do you get Brownie Points for your Image??

Over the time, most of my clients have always seen Branding as a one way street. They are always intrigued to know about “What else can we do?”

Branding is not only about reaching out to the masses and winning a popularity contest. It is more about building a solid foundation for your business, so that every time someone sees your company’s name, they are able to relate to a strong emotion.

No matter what efforts you take, your customers can make a huge impact if they just help your business get a bit more popular.

Here is a list of things which you, in the most humble sense, request your loyal customers to do, to give your brand that extra seasoning on your branding:

1.    Writing reviews:

Positive or negatives, good or bad; no matter which ones your products/services get, reviews are an excellent measurement of your clients’ experiences. A recent study in America shows that good reviews can increase the chances of your products being sold by a whopping 270%.

2.    Actively follow you on Social Media:

Today, business is all about making a mark on social media. The more people talk about your brand on the internet, you can be sure to reach glory days that faster. It is obvious that to do this, a business on its part needs to create engaging content consistently.

3.    Providing Feedbacks:

Where reviews help other customers to judge a product/service, feedbacks are really valuable for the internal use of the company, to understand their working. Only your loyal customers will be open enough to give you negative feedbacks, in case of a bad experience. Others will always move on to some other brand.

4.    Word of Mouth Publicity:

Though the onus on providing great service lies with the brand, you can always request your customers to put in a good word for you in their peers. Isn’t it great when you receive a call that starts from “I got your number from Mr X… He recommended I talk with you regarding……”

5. Flaunt:

This last one comes with a clause that the company spends on providing real, quality goodies and merchandise. Companies like monster spend a fortune on posters, key-chains, wrist, bands, t-shirts and lots more. Their customers on their part, show their love and affection by proudly displaying these freebies.

Though these contributions from the customers may seem small, they add up to a whole lot when it comes to Brand Recognition in the market. Brands need to make sure their customers participate in the company activities at their level. However, this can only be achieved when the customer is happy and satisfied with your brand’s products/services, as well as they are in sync with your Branding.
